Double deathcard to brothers Anto & Ludwig Achatz (?) Both were Obergefreiters and winners of the Iron cross 2nd Class, Black Wound badge and Eastern front medal. Ludwig also won the Infantry Assault badge. He was a veteran of the French and Russian campaigns.
He died on the 29th September 1944 on the eastern front aged 25. Anton died during the defensive fighting in East Prussia aged 22.
