This ‘Baton Round’ was found on the inside of a very thick hedge while I was working with a gardening team in North Belfast. It is reckoned to have been lying there, in all weathers, undisturbed for at least 2 decades, so has degraded somewhat. Unknown whether it actually clipped any rioters during its short trajectory.
Interesting souvenir from Ireland’s troubled past.
Was about to be shoveled into a bin before I saved it.
