Signed photograph from reputedly Hitler’s least favourite paratrooper, namely Max Schmeling. Schmelling was boxing’s heavyweight champion of the world. He was considered an Aryan hero to the 3rd Reich but this all changed and Adolf turned against him when he lost a fight against black American boxer Joe Louis (Whom he had beaten 2 years before). Some historians actually claim that when war broke out, Hitler ordered that Schmeling be drafted into the Fallschirmjager and put to the forefront of any upcoming dangerous missions. Schmeling died in 2004 aged 99.
